Dolphines are mammels. They feed their younge milk. They have very strong tails that help them swim fast. The deepest depths that they can swim to is 150 feet deep. To communicate they make farting sounds and sing. They live with groupes and sleep with one eye open so they can watch for preditors.

Dolphins eat mostly a variety of fish and squid, depending on what part of the ocean they live in. The bottlenose dolphins in the Indian River Lagoon eat mostly fish because there are not many squid in the lagoon. A dolphin's cone-shaped teeth interlock to catch fish. Their teeth are not used to chew, and they swallow their food whole.
